My final peice, from the text "kites hung in the sky like paper shark roaming for their prey".I have looked at the theme of manipulation and mix media .I am not completely satisfied with this final peice as it does not run smoothy due to the lighting problems.

This is my final animation. I am really pleased with the outcome because I thought it might look a bit messy and too much because of all the different types of fonts and materials I used, however I think it looks quite interesting, which is what I was aiming for. I'm also really happy with the skeleton, especially at the end with the heart beating and the camera zooming in and then the skeleton holding its heart.
final animation
my animation is based on a fairytale themed story book, each individual page has different animations happening, my hand also turns each page revealing my chosen sentance.
Final Piece!
Here is my final piece.
I animated a series of three continuous pages of my chosen sentence using a variety of materials (wire, string, sticks, acrylic paint, fabric, grease paper, collage & basic fine liner sketches) and also animating individual words too.
1st page: ''It was as if the entire cabin..''
2nd page: ''were filled with the tasteless odorloss fumes of powerfull romantic-sexual gas..''
3rd page: ''and only a spark was needed to create an explosion..''
Temptation 5
the final animation in my series is where i spill sugar on the table and i write words in it. i think that it looks really good and works well with a simple font and would have been harder to read with a flowy font.
Temptation 3
This is the third animation in my series. It is a wine glass that is filled with collage pieces and i then used Photoshop to make the wine look like it is spilling out.
This is my final piece, i have choosen to use words that are similar to the sentence as i feel that the whole sentence may take away from the feeling of the characters, which is how the reader relates to the characters. I like this animation as i feel its interesting and i like how the end of the sentence then comes down into tears and then into a puddle, this therefore shows the feelings that are related to the words.

'Gas' animation - development
Here, I animated my self writing the word, 'gas' with charcoal and then smudging it at the end.
I thought this worked out really well because smudging suited the word and gave it a 'gas' feeling.
Rolling Man
Here I have experimented with an idea I had of what could happen to the man in my previous animation after he'd dropped from the window. I plan to experiment with various backgrounds both hand-drawn and collaged.

FINAL!!
As obviously stated, this is my final piece!
I like it, but there are many things which could have been done better, especially the camera shake. I also think that it looks messy, in a more negative way than a positive one! However, I think it looks good considering this project was really difficult for me, particularly spending so much time on photoshop! But I did the best I could :)
Un-edited Final
I put this animation on the blog to show the 'before and after' effect on my animaton. This was originally just going to be my final piece but it obviously looks unfinished and the illustrations aren't bold enough, therefore, I commited to spending roughly 8 hours on photoshop editing, and nearly died in the process, but it was all worth it in the end!
final piece decision
On my last post i said it was going to be the first attempt of my final piece. Well I changed my mind and decided that was going to be my final piece and that I was going to show what I could change with a screenshot in my book
Finall Piece
This is my fanal Piece. I listened to some of my peer feedback and made some slight changes to one of my initial ideas that I liked.
CW FINAL animation
This is my final animation in which i used stones and coffee granuals to make it. I feel this animation was simple but effective, all though this animation took a long time to create. This animation shows clearly what my sentence i chose was about.
TL Final Animation
This is my final animation of the animation project. The animation is all drawn and used the same materials as I planned. This is based on the sentence I had chosen to create an animation out of.
Temptation 2
the second in a series of anuimations about temptation. this one is me eating a bar of chocolate and screwing up the wrapper. i think it looks good but it needs something else to make it look different.
stones development
In this animation I am practicing using stones to make an animation. The use of stones will be quite effective if i make the animation longer and take more time on it.

Text in Tummy
I created this animation from the sentance I chose 'A flock of butterflies riots in my stomach'
The first thing that came to mind was pregnancy and how pregnant woman must feel.
Final develpoment a thought happening and comeing true.
With this animation I took the idea of the glass house breking, with a memory effect around the outside. I also did it in pencil but then added colour to show that her memory has started to come true and that it is happeing whilst she is thinking. I also developed this idea by haveing a rock go through the the glass house and break the glass.
Temptation 1
this animation looks good because ti flows pretty well but i think that it needs to be zoomed in a little as you can see the table edge. i think that the money nderneither the cake works well and i like that the money is moving. i will try again with the animation zoomed in.
Plan of my Final Design without Text
This will be my final design, however without my sentence included in it yet. The text will come in after the black skeleton with the white background and before the white skeleton with the black background.

Development with fine liner
With this design I took my idea and my peers idea and then tested out the idea. I used fine liner to see if it would make the image stand out which is does. I also did little squares each time just to show a ruff idea of what the animation could look like, that explaines the animation in each box (seperated from each other).

Falling man
Here I have developed my first initial idea of a man escaping from a prison window. I used photographs of my pencil drawings for each frame. The rubbing out of the previous drawing left a smudgy trail which I decided to leave in, as it looked as if the man had slid down a wall, similiar to the trail's left behind by the figures in 'Blu's' MUTO animation.

T-shirt temptation
the words temptation is not evil on a T-shirt. i took a photo after writing each letter. i think the font i chose worked well but it was very difficult to keepit consistant.
Bottle
This animation was me trying to create one of the aspects of my final animation. i tried to make the liquid look like it was being drained from the bottle then it falling over. but it didnt quite work.,
Words in a shape of a heart on the whiteboard
I like this idea as it shows the shape of the heart however it incorporates the words from my sentence therefore showing the meaning of the heart and the way that i have shown how the words mean to me.

development animation 2
Development - Try 4
I have used post-it notes and took still photos to animate the first four words of my sentence ''It was as if..''.
I animated my self 'writing' on the notes, peeling them off and putting them on the table one by one. I think this worked out really well too because it flows really well and I would also like to use this idea in my final piece as well.
For this animation I developed my first initial idea into a hand-drawn animation.
development animation 1
Development - Try 3
I have made an animation for a part of my sentence which was,
'filled with the tasteless, odorless fumes of powerful-romantic sexual gas..''
Because my animation is based on Typography, I played around with different types of materials (fabric, collage, acrylic paint, lino printing and basic fineliner sketching) and I created a page in my book with all of this combined together. I animated this page by basically using my hand and pointing at words, opening folded up bits in the order of my sentence. I really like how all of this worked out therefore I will plan to use this idea in my final piece too.

Dissolving
I think this animation is my best so far. This is developed even further from the previous animation and I have made it longer aswell as doing more with the text. I really like the illustrations and the way the image changes, on the other hand though, I don't like the text at the end because I don't think it suits the rest of the animation and it looks quite rushed.
Bursting bubbles
This is a further developement after my typography one: ('I sometimes wonder if this is all down to me'). I wanted to try out what an animation would look like which included both illustrations and typography, however, I don't particularly like the typography in this but this animation was more for testing. However, I do really like the general look of it, it is simple but works well. I personally think it would look better with colour, and for my final piece I will most likely add colour using photoshop.
I sometimes wonder if this was all down to ME
I really like this typography animation, I drew the letters on different pieces of coloured paper and for each new arrangement and movement of the letters i took a picture.
Doing this animation has enabled me to visually see that when I use typography for animation it works better, this has developed my ideas further and I now want to include typography, whereas when I started this project I just wanted to do illustrations.
